A round up of the best Amazon beds and headboards for high end interior designer style for a fraction of the price.
Don’t sleep on Amazon’s beds when it comes to bedroom furniture shopping. Wait a sec… that expression doesn’t work here. 😆 Beds don’t have to be expensive to be beautiful, and Amazon has proven that!
I whipped up this ultimate Amazon beds guide if you find yourself needing to furnish a bedroom on a super tight budget without sacrificing style.
We have used many beds from Amazon over the years for bedroom makeovers both in our home and in friends’ homes. Each section in this guide is sorted by bed category: storage beds, bed frames, and headboards.

Storage Beds
We recently bought this upholstered wingback bed with hidden storage for our small primary bedroom. It’s the perfect solution to provide much-needed space for luggage, extra bedding, and bins with off-season clothing.
The best part is it looks so much like the storage beds from Pottery Barn, West Elm, and Castlery for a quarter of the price!
This bed in our primary bedroom has a hydraulic lift so the entire under-bed space is accessible. I much prefer this storage setup instead of drawers. But when you have a small bedroom with limited dresser and closet space, anything helps.

Wooden Vintage Style Bed
Several vintage style beds we have used in our room makeovers came frame Amazon for way less than they look! So many of these look similar to beds from Frontgate, Pottery Barn, and Arhaus.
The best part is most of these beds have built-in platforms with slats, so you can save a bit on your mattress budget without needing to purchase a box spring.
This vintage style solid wood rolling pin poster bed is so perfect in our 5 year-old daughter’s room!

Vintage Style Solid Wood Poster Bed
True vintage beds are often hard to find in a queen size or king size. This well made wood bed is easy to assemble (we put it together in 30 minutes). The wood grain adds so much character. And since it comes with built-in slats, no box spring is required. Our 5 year-old daughter has climbed all over it for a year, and it has proven to be very sturdy.
These black metal spindle beds we used in this teen girl bedroom makeover were a steal at under $70 per twin! It’s available in all other sizes as well.
It’s perfect for placing in front of a window to let more light into the room. Slats are already included so no box spring is needed.
The bed sits high enough above the floor to allow plenty of space for under bed drawers or storage bins. We used these storage drawers underneath these beds. They’re the perfect bed for kids’ rooms for this reason.
